Chaos - The Mathematics Club

Chaos, the mathematics club at Edgewood, is a student organization which sponsors both scholastic and social activities for students interested in mathematics. Membership in organizations like Chaos plays an important role in a student's college experience. The organization provides an excellent opportunity for students to get better acquainted with other students and faculty members.

In the past, Chaos has sponsored a number of activities, ranging from a full week of events celebrating Mathematics Awareness Week including the all important Egg Drop Contest, and fielding two sets of three member teams participating in The Mathematical Contest in Modeling each February, and hosting career information sessions, pizza included. Anyone interested in becoming involved in Chaos or who wants further information can contact Ken Jewell, faculty advisor of Chaos.
